Baumalog helps Polish Army in storing helicopter parts
The 44th Navy Airforce Base in Darłowo is one of the SAR helicopter base of Polish Army that operates mainly on the Baltic coast and sea.
Polish Army uses some Modula systems in logistic bases in the whole country and the Army wanted to supply a suitable solution to the base in Darłowo in order to store helicopter spare parts. System has to grant special environmental conditions, as it is located in a warehouse (10 m high) without any heating system.
The main feature, Modula LIFT was supposed to fulfil, was to store helicopter spare parts in a special environmental conditions (temperature 10-25 ˚C, humidity 50-60 %) and to grant limited access, all in order to meet high military standards concerning security and quality.
Used model, Modula LIFT MC25D of 10 m height, with 6 trays (250 kg loading capacity each) is equipped with with housing (made of sandwich panels)
and A/C system allowing to store sensitive helicopter spare parts in a small area (11 m2) fulfilling the most stringent environmental requirements. The supply consists also of the WMS Modula Base, a full inventory management SW designed for the best usage of Modula Lift.
