Metaltechnica Sp. z o.o. sp. k. is a company with over 30 years of tradition in metal processing and supply of metal parts and components for industry. The company deals with the development of technology, implementation and production of metal parts for various industries, including engineering, electrical engineering, energy, household appliances and medical.
Features
Due to the increase in production and optimization of storage space, the company decided to implement the TwinTower automated storage system for storing sheet metal with dimensions of 3000 x 1500 mm. The automated storage system is equipped with 57 shelves with a load capacity of 3000 kg, its height is 6275 mm, which fully uses the storage space. TwinTower consists of two storage columns and an extractor that task is to move the shelves to a loading-unloading station moving along the longer side of the shelf. The station is equipped with a depalletiser for separating sheet metal packs from pallets. When the system is not in use, the station is hidden within the storage column. Automated storage system is placed close to the production machines and provides easy and quick access to a wide range of products, which significantly improves the production process.
