Baumalog as a patron of the competition for the best thesis of the Faculty of SiMR Warsaw University of Technology

On March 2, 2023, we took part in the 26th final of the competition for the best thesis at the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery at the Warsaw University of Technology. As part of our long-term cooperation with the SiMR Faculty, our company once again became the patron of the event, funding special prizes for distinguished graduates of the faculty.

In the final seminar, the Competition Council was attended by the Director for Process Optimization and Manager of the Designers Office of our company – Marcin Maj. The winners of the 26th edition of the competition were:

• Eng. Michał Karelus and Eng. Michał Niedzielczyk, graduates of the Mechanics of Vehicles and Working Machines, for his engineering thesis entitled Design of a pneumatic rescue dart and throwing system (supervisor Lech Knap, Ph.D. Eng., prof.
• MSc. Katarzyna Miś, a graduate of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Engineering, for her master’s thesis entitled Thermal analysis of electric vehicle battery operation (supervisor Piotr Piórkowski, Ph.D. Eng., university professor)
