TransferTower® automated storage system
Automated storage system TransferTower® consists of 2 to 4 TwinTower® automated storage systems connected through a transfer station, which enables the transport of shelves between the storage columns. The transfer station usually moves at the top of the storage system and the shelves are delivered to it by elevators moving between the storage columns. The connection of the automated system with the transfer station enables access to every good kept in the system through the each loading-unloading station. The TransferTower® automated storage system can be placed in series to the longer or shorter side of the shelf.

Operating principles
The animation shows how the TransferTower® automated system for storing steel sheets works. The system consists of 4 storage columns, 2 loading-unloading stations and a transfer station.
Follows sequentially: transporting new sheets – depalletization – transporting the shelf into the storage column – loading the next shelf from the storage column and transporting it on to the transfer station – transporting the shelf on to the elevator in the second storage column – transporting the shelf on to the loading-unloading station.
