TwinTower® automated storage system
The TwinTower® automated storage system, like its single-tower version, the MonoTower®, is the ideal solution for storing small quantities of sheets. Situated close to the sheet metal working machines (laser cutting or punching machines), it optimizes and speeds up the material flow and makes efficient use of the available space. The TwinTower® for storing metal sheets consists of two storage columns, between which an elevator transports shelves. The loading and unloading of the sheets onto the shelves take place, depending on the version, at a fixed or movable station.

Selected system configurations
The TwinTower® automated storage system can be equipped with various types of loading and unloading stations, depending on the customer’s needs and the location of other machines in the process line.
The solid station is located in front of the storage column and outside of the system. Transport of sheets to a remote location is carried out with the use of a lifting device or a forklift.
The movable station, that runs along the short side of the shelf, can move to an adjacent room or outside the building to supply or replenish sheets. When the system is not in use, the station is hidden inside the system.
